What Are the Cincinnati Bengals' Needs in the 2013 NFL Draft?

Aaron Nagler@Aaron_NaglerNFL National Lead WriterJanuary 14, 2013

The Cincinnati Bengals are still thanking the Oakland Raiders for the picks they received in the Carson Palmer deal. This year, they'll get a second-round pick. So, what do they need to get past the first round of the playoffs next year?

The good news for Bengals fans is your team has very few glaring holes. There's a core of very good players in place such as Andy Dalton, A.J. Green, Jermaine Gresham and Geno Atkins.

The bad news is, the Bengals seem far away from being an elite team. However, that's something a smart draft and offseason acquisitions may cure.

Matt Miller and I rounded up a bunch of football fans, gave them hats and B/R swag, then headed over to Highland Park here in New York City and tried to figure out where the Bengals have the most pressing needs heading into the 2013 NFL draft.

Let us know in the comments below where you agree or disagree with our assessments and what other needs we might have missed.
