Saturday January 12, 2013 saw the WWE make its way to the border town of Laredo, Texas as part of the Raw World Tour.

The house show brought the biggest names in the business, including WWE Champion CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, U.S. Champion Antonio Cesaro, The Miz, Texan native and WWE Diva Kaitlyn, as well as the tag team champions, Team Hell No. John Cena was also scheduled to make an appearance, but wasn't booked to wrestle.

The night started off with the champion CM Punk introduced to a chorus of boos from the crowd as he made his way slowly and gingerly to the ring. Punk addressed the crowd that he would not be able to wrestle that evening due to an injury suffered from last Monday's TLC match against Ryback.

Punk went as far as to present a doctor's note and left it in the middle of the ring if any fan wanted to read it. Ziggler entered with AJ Lee and Big E Langston at his side. Ziggler sported a surgoen's mask, also complaining of being sick and not being able to wrestle.

Just as the chorus of boos drowned out Ziggler and CM Punk, WWE Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero entered and announced to the crowd that both Ziggler and Punk would be wrestling Ryback and John Cena, much to the approval of the crowd, especially considering that Cena wasn't advertised to be wrestling.

In the first match of the evening, The Funkasaurus Brodus Clay defeated Jack Swagger. Zack Ryder defeated Leo Kruger, Tensai lost to Jamie Noble, a WWE producer and former wrestler. Noble replaced Santino Marella.

Team Hell No defeated the deadly trio known as the Shield thanks to a disqualification. Ryback entered the ring and threw out each of the three Shield members.

Fellow Texan Kaityln received a rounding applause then defeated Tamina Snuka in the only divas match of the evening.

Antonio Cesaro delivered the neutralizer in a win over The Miz. The street fight was voted on the crowd in what was one of the best matches of the night. Cesaro worked the crowd over and is improving his mic skills and in-ring personality.

The main event featured Ziggler and Punk falling to John Cena and Ryback. Big E Langston entered the ring and applied his finisher, the "big ending," to Ryback but CM Punk couldn't recover in time for the pin. Cena ran Ziggler into two flying shoulders before delivering a five knuckle shuffle and the AA for the finisher.

The house show delivered in more ways than one. Every match was solid and the biggest names appeared on the cards and left the crowd more than satisfied.
