An NFL playoff game was on the big screen in the locker room Sunday. How appropriate. Aside from many Vancouver Canucks drawn to the game or being in a pool, nobody in the NHL runs a draw play quite like the defending Presidents’ Trophy winners. Their power-play practice of dropping the puck to a charging teammate in the neutral zone to gain the blueline at speed worked for a while last season. But it became predictable and easy to defend, and now the Canucks find themselves in a predicament.
