It was plain to see that neither Notre Dame nor its star LB, Manti Te’o, performed well in the Irish’s 41–14 humbling by Alabama in the BCS title game. Te’o’s father, however, doesn’t see that as license to “embarrass” his son.

On Friday, Brian Te’o took to the “Manti Te’o ‘Official’ Fan Club” on Facebook — which he apparently runs — to call for a boycott on subscribing to the Honolulu Star Advertiser after the paper printed a photo of Te’o failing to tackle Tide RB Eddie Lacy with the headline “Bowled Over” running over it.
