Titans Plan to Keep Hasselbeck Around for Next Season

Titans general manager Ruston Webster said the team is planning on keeping 37-year-old Matt Hasselbeck for the final year of his contract, Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports. Coach Mike Munchak selected Locker over Hasselbeck to be the starter in 2012, but the Titans still like Hasselbeck as a security blanket. Locker missed five midseason games because of a dislocated left (non-throwing) shoulder. He underwent surgery on Wednesday.
