The Detroit Lions held a private on-campus workout today with former Georgia Bulldogs star quarterback, Matthew Stafford.

And from what the Lions representatives were saying, the results were encouraging.

Does this mean that Stafford going to the Detroit Lions is a done deal?

In April's NFL draft, the Detroit Lions own the first pick. And the private workout today could have sealed the deal with Stafford as their No. 1 pick.

Sources described Stafford's workout as "flawless, stating it was significantly better than his March 19 pro-day workout, which was also held at Georgia."

Although the draft is still three weeks away, today's private workout session could have closed the deal on Stafford heading to the Detroit Lions.
