Manchester United vs. Liverpool: Live Stream Info for Massive EPL Clash

Pete Schauer@@Pete_SchauerCorrespondent IJanuary 13, 2013

With heavy bragging rights at stake between these two Premier League rivals, the table standings take a backseat whenever Manchester United and Liverpool get together.

The Reds are going to miss out on Champions League play this season, posting only 31 points, while Man U runs the table with an EPL-leading 52.

Be sure to set your alarms for 8:30 a.m. on Sunday so you can catch all the action between these two rivals.

Where: Old Trafford, Manchester, England

When: Sunday, Jan. 13, at 8:30 a.m. ET

With just three losses and one draw this season, the Red Devils enter this contest not having lost since Dec. 5 against CFR Cluj-Napoca while Liverpool will be looking to make it four straight victories.

If the Reds are going to escape Old Trafford with a win, they'll need to shut down Robin van Persie, who leads the EPL with 16 goals. Van Persie also has six assists, which is second on Man U to only Wayne Rooney (seven).

Liverpool is really going to have its hands full against a talent like van Persie, who can take a game over in the blink of an eye. He reads defenses exceptionally well and is one of the best goalscorers on the planet.

As far as the Reds offense goes, they'll be relying heavily on Luis Suárez, who has netted 15 goals for Liverpool while dishing three assists.

The 25-year-old forward can run for days and is especially dangerous from outside the box, which only adds to his versatility as a scorer.

With all of its success this season, it's hard to go against the Red Devils, so I'm not going to do it.

I like van Persie to net his 17th of the season in a 2-1 Man U victory over Liverpool.
