Tony Parker Sends Spurs-Grizzlies to OT with Crazy 3-Point Buzzer-Beater
Every time we forget about Tony Parker, he does something to remind us of his greatness.
With the Memphis Grizzlies leading 95-92, the San Antonio Spurs were in need of a miracle. Fortunately, Parker has proved to be something of a miracle man.
Tim Duncan bounced the in-bound pass up court, Parker took three quick dribbles, blew past Zach Randolph and Rudy Gay, and boom.
95-95. Overtime.
Mike Monroe of The San Antonio Express offered his best Reggie Miller description of the events leading up to the play.
Spurs scored 6 pts. in final 4.4 sec. in Memphis to send game to OT, 3s by @datrillstak5 and @tp9network

So how did it end?
Parker drained a three just a minute-and-a-half into overtime. Unfortunately, that was all San Antonio could muster.
Randolph, Gay and Darrell Arthur all made jump shots and Memphis won, 101-98.
Even still, Parker's buzzer-beater will live on as one of the better moments of the 2012-13 NBA season. Memphis' victory will serve as a turning point in this season.
The Grizzlies have won four in a row and are now 24-10. San Antonio is 28-11 and lost for the third time in five games.
Could we see a changing of the guard in the Southwest Division? Or will Parker's heroics be enough to secure a victory the next time around?
Until then, enjoy this beauty of a buzzer-beater.
