There are a number of ways to bet on football, but one way that can provide a big profit is predicting a Super Bowl winner.

It is obviously easier to guess the champion at this stage of the year than it was during September. However, this postseason has eight teams remaining that are all capable of winning it all.

While some teams are more likely to win than others, the key to making money is to select the best value among the presented odds.

Picking one of these teams to win the Super Bowl would be the smartest move to make.

Green Bay Packers: 7/1

Although the Packers have a tough road to the Super Bowl, this is a team you can trust in this situation.

Two years ago, Green Bay won road games against the top two seeds in the NFC before defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl. As long as Aaron Rodgers is there, this group can do it again.

This season, the Packers' four big-time weapons at receiver will make it almost impossible for opposing teams to defend. They also have one of the best pass rushes in the NFL, which keeps quarterbacks under pressure all game long.

Green Bay has the talent and experience necessary to win it all, and that makes them a very good bet with these odds.

Atlanta Falcons: 8/1

It seems like everyone forgot about the regular season that the Atlanta Falcons put together this year.

Matt Ryan and company tied with the Denver Broncos for the best record in football at 13-3 and earned home-field advantage throughout the playoffs. They will play the next two games in a place where Ryan has a 33-5 career record.

The offense is great through the air, and the defense is ranked fifth in the NFL in points allowed.

In addition, the seven wins by less than a touchdown will only help the Falcons in the playoffs, as they will certainly need to know how to win close games.

Atlanta is somehow underrated as the No. 1 seed, and you should take advantage of this situation with a Super Bowl bet.

Houston Texans: 20/1

It was not that long ago that the Houston Texans had the best record in football at 11-1.

Losing three of four games to end the year has a habit of forcing people off the bandwagon, but this team is definitely not dead.

The Texans had some injury problems during the slide, but the team is back closer to full strength as it looks to take on the Patriots.

The squad also seems to have fixed its defensive issues against the pass. Opposing quarterbacks have been held to under 200 passing yards in each of the last four games, including last week's playoff win over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Defeating the New England Patriots and likely the Denver Broncos on the road will not be easy, but there is enough talent at every position on this roster to win three more games and take home the Lombardi Trophy.

At 20-1 odds, betting on Houston is worth the risk.
