Phoenix Suns vs. Boston Celtics 1/9/13: Video Highlights and Recap

Despite scoring just 14 points in the third quarter, the Boston Celtics (18-17) held on to beat the 12-25 Phoenix Suns 87-79 in the Garden on Wednesday night. 

The Celtics started this game off strong and led 53-41 at halftime. However, they went ice cold in the third and actually lost the lead. 

Boston began to regain form before the end of the third and eventually regained the lead. The Celtics then outscored the sinking Suns 20-15 in the fourth to take home the win.

Player of the Game: Jared Sullinger

Celtics rookie Jared Sullinger had a great game. He came of the bench to add 12 points and he grabbed a career-best 16 rebounds. 


What's Next

This was the first of a five-game homestand for the Celtics. Next up is the Houston Rockets on Friday. 

The Suns are in the middle of a four-game road trip. They will travel to take on the Nets on Friday and the Bulls on Saturday to conclude their trip.
