NIU Will Open Season at Iowa

Two-time defending Mid-American Conference champion Northern Illinois will play non-conference games at Iowa, Idaho and Purdue, the school announced Wednesday.

The Huskies will open the 2013 season at Iowa on Aug. 31. They will travel to Idaho on Sept. 14 and Purdue on Sept. 28.
