Joe Philbin's first year as a head coach could be seen as a success, if only because his general manager Jeff Ireland left the cupboard bare by trading away a good deal of talent.
With that said, the Dolphins have a decent talent base to build off of. Most importantly, they have a potential franchise quarterback in Ryan Tannehill, who probably played better than anyone expected him to in 2012.
The task ahead for Ireland and Philbin is to build up their talent base and keep augmenting where they are already strong.
Matt Miller and I rounded up a bunch of football fans, gave them hats and B/R swag, then headed over to Highland Park here in New York City and tried to figure out where the Dolphins have the most pressing needs heading into the 2013 NFL draft.
