Chelsea vs. Swansea: Capital One Cup Semifinal Live Score, Highlights, Recap
Stamford Bridge—London, England.
Chelsea 0-2 Swansea
In an absolutely scintillating affair, Swansea left West London with one foot in the Capital One Cup final after securing a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues dominated all night long but simply failed to score from a multitude of chances, while at the other end two woeful mistakes from Branislav Ivanovic gifted Michael Laudrup's side the spoils.
Fernando Torres started but failed to impress, while Demba Ba had a goal ruled out in the final minute and was also booked for diving.
FULL TIME! CHELSEA 0-2 SWANSEA!
Before all the drama:
Ba was booked for "diving" as he ran onto a dinked ball through.
It was Ba vs. Tremmel on foot and Ba gets to the ball first, nicking it beyond Tremmel to run onto. The two men hit each other at pace, and for some reason for the striker sees yellow.
It was not a penalty, but it wasn't a yellow.
DISALLOWED GOAL! BA!
Offside as Ba puts it in the net. There's a lot to say here, I wish I had 10 hands.
More on the goal
ANOTHER defensive lapse. ANOTHER poor back pass. Ivanovic the culprit AGAIN!
He passes back to Turnbull without looking and Graham slots it after rounding the 'keeper.
GOAL! GRAHAM 2-0!
90'—Booked! Demba Ba for "diving"!
87'—Chance!
Marin lifts it in and Ba is there again! He wins his aerial duel and this one flies just wide of the post
86'—For the first time on the night, Williams is beaten in the air as Ba heads goalward.
It's not a well directed effort though, and Tremmel claims with ease.
84'—Luiz fires well over as he desperately tries to do...something.
Major frustrations for Chelsea and they've got five minutes plus added time to rescue a result.

80'—Chelsea sub!
Ba on, Torres off!
Rapturous applause for the new man, a hint of booing for Torres?
79'—Oscar flicks a lovely ball into space down the right flank for Azpilicueta, and the Spanish right-back pulls a fierce ball across goal. It's cleared, yet again, by a sturdy and determined defence.
Speak of the devil...Demba Ba is stripped and ready to come on!
Can't believe Torres is still on this is getting silly now

76'—Oscar whips a dangerous ball in from the right and Tremmel, who has had a super night, saves with his feet when the ball is at catching height.
73'—Successive free kicks for Swansea in Chelsea's half provide Laudrup's side with some welcome relief, but neither delivery finds a familiar head.
71'—Lampard's first involvement is a ball looking for Mata, but Ashley Williams, who has been an absolute titan in defence, heads clear.
Just listen to that applause...

70'—Chelsea sub!
Lampard is ON! Ramires off.
67'—The game is getting a little feisty and Chelsea's frustrations are beginning to show.
Every hold or tug of shirt is met with dramatic arm flopping. Meanwhile, Mata bends a free kick in a good position about 10 yards wide.

62'—Swansea sub!
After a short cameo from a pitch invader, Routledge is subbed off for Tiendalli.
60'—We're now at the point where most managers make a change if things aren't going their way.
There's no doubt Benitez will seek a different approach, and will we see a Demba Ba appearance?

56'—Luiz comes close again!
Tremmel pulls off a brilliant save as the Brazilian's firm left-foot strike from 16 yards. That was awesome!
55'—So close!
Luiz fires in a much better free kick from 30-odd yards.
It goes through the wall but flies just wide of Tremmel's right-hand post!
