Ohio State is the team that won at Purdue 74-64 on Tuesday and still the team that lost at Illinois by 19 on Saturday. So don't overreact and take this bounceback as a statement. It's just a reminder that all is not lost after one bad game, and that although Deshaun Thomas isn't the kind of player to carry a team through a season, he sure can do it for stretches on some nights.
