With Kevin Love injured and coach Rick Adelman away for personal reasons, the Timberwolves, on the verge of embarking on a difficult four-game road trip, did what they had to do.

They outworked, outhustled and -- yes -- outshot the Atlanta Hawks in a 108-103 victory at Target Center on Tuesday night.

Oh, and they outlasted them, too...
