Sophomore forward DeAndre Daniels (Los Angles, Calif.) had a career-high 26 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the University of Connecticut men's basketball team defaeted DePaul 99-78 on Tuesday night before a crowd of 9,156 at Gampel Pavlion. UConn improves to 11-3 on the season and 1-0 in the BIG EAST as the game was the first BIG EAST career victory for first-year UConn head coach Kevin Ollie. DePaul falls to 10-6 overall and 1-2 in the league.
