The fairy tale season comes to a crashing halt for Notre Dame, but Fighting Irish fans should hold their heads up high. 

Even though the Fighting Irish were absolutely blown away by the Alabama Crimson Tide 42-14, Notre Dame has a promising future with an amazing recruiting class for 2013 and a bright young star in Everett Golson. 

Will the Irish bounce back and return to the national championship? Who could step into Manti's shoes and become a leader on the defense?
