Minnesota's preseason is beginning to take shape. The games are currently as follows:

Minnesota at Indianapolis Colts
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Minnesota
Minnesota at Houston Texans
Dallas Cowboys vs. Minnesota

The dates aren't set in stone, but the first game should be mid-August and the final game in early September. The Texans game is a Monday game (August 31).

Of note: This will be Indy's first game without former head coach Tony Dungy, who has been replaced by Jim Caldwell. Enjoy retirement, Dungy! You've made Minnesota proud.

Jared Allen will have a chance to rush against his former team's offensive line, which ought to be rewarding for him.  He'll want to stay in longer than the first team will likely get to play. Maybe us Vikings fans will get a chance to see Aaron Curry in action.  Maybe we'll even get to see JD Booty take on the Chiefs' third team defense.

Anyone looking forward to the preseason yet? The next four months will be rough for NFL fans, but before you know it the regular season will be upon us.
