Travis Zajac has had enough of sitting around and not playing hockey over the last year and a half.

After missing all but 15 regular season games in 2011-12 because of torn left Achilles tendon, the Devils center then had to endure this season’s lockout, which lasted 113 days before the NHL and the players reached a tentative agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement shortly after 5 a.m. Sunday.
