Real Madrid defender Marcelo has returned to training ahead of schedule after fracturing his metatarsal.
The Brazilian suffered the injury on international duty in October. He was then operated on by specialist Dr Van Dijk in Amsterdam, who subsequently travelled to Madrid to check up on his patient’s progress.
