Hi, people, and welcome to another episode of the Rumor Mill.
Let’s get started, shall we?
Keep your eyes open; rumor has it that John Cena is scheduled to take on Big Show tonight. It may not be a dark match.
Don’t forget: Chris Jericho and Jerry "The King" Lawler are going at it. I am pretty sure Lawler will dish out a king's portion of retribution (pun intended).
Superstars, Divas, and Icons
ECW Superstar Ricky Ortiz suffered a broken nose.
Is Kurt Angle considering returning to WWE? Angle's contract is up this coming September and he has stated that if things don’t improve at TNA, he will be looking at returning to WWE.
Angle turns 41 this year, and Shane McMahon and Michael Hayes had even gone as far as to pitch scenarios for Angle's return.
This may or may not happen, if he does return to WWE, he will no doubt only have limited appearances due to his injury list.
The Miz interview
In a recent interview with BuddyTV, The Miz talks about the Dirt Sheet, his persona, and reality and WrestleMania 25.
Here are some highlights:
“It's funny. John and I, we drive a lot from city to city doing shows. We were having great matches but we knew that people had to know what our characters were like. People had to know who we were as wrestlers as well as people.
"And we thought the only way we could get that across was to get some sort of show on Dot-Com. So we asked "Can we do this show on Dot-Com?"
And people were like "Sure, no problem.”
“It's helped out so much, because people now know exactly who The Miz and John Morrison are. We're two completely different characters, but as a unit, we're unstoppable.”
“I think (reality) was actually the same (as wrestling). It just sort of falls into you. It's really kind of the same. It's just a bigger person than yourself. You know? Being on a reality show they do a lot of editing. They do a lot of random stuff.
"But in wrestling, you only get one take. You only get one try. You kind of start falling into that character."
“I think our goal is like everyone else’s goal at Wrestlemania. I mean, this is our Super Bowl. This is the time to bring up all the stops. We’re looking to steal the show.
"We want to have the best match, walk away with the unified tag team championship and actually have people remember that match and go, “Man, that was an awesome match.”

John Cena's new movie 12 Rounds is reportedly at No. 7, not the greatest rating out there.
Behind the scenes
Randy Orton vs. Triple H in a cage match is being advertised as the main event for the Apr. 21 Smackdown/ECW taping in London.
Rumor has it that Vince has become even more frustrated with Michael Hayes' booking on the show and has begun eyeballing Bruce Pritchard (Brother Love) as a possible addition to the creative team, if not a full- on replacement for Hayes. TNA is reportedly also interested in bringing in Pritchard.
Good luck with this one, Vince; you are going to need it. An enemy with a need is always the more dangerous of the two.
Steve Austin is set to star in a new movie called "The Stranger."
TNA wrestler Sting's name actually came up this year regarding a possible induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. Sting is on good terms with Vince McMahon, so the company will likely produce a DVD based on the WCW footage they own and consider him in conjunction for the Hall of Fame when his time in TNA comes to an end.
Well, that's all for today, stay tuned for more rumors, news, and gossip.
