As the Denver Nuggets figure out who they are on the court, they seem to have their identity on the sidelines nailed down. They're a bunch of fun-loving guys who like to mess with each other, evidenced by Ty Lawson's trainer caper.

The Denver Nuggets seem to be a group of guys who get along immensely, and at the very least who like to joke around and play pranks on each other. 

That's why it's not particularly surprising to see something like this happen, Ty Lawson crawling over to steal JaVale McGee's shoe as the Denver Nuggets were up big on the Utah Jazz.

My guess is he was just jealous of whatever McGee had written on his shoes during the game. He's been known to scrawl a thing or two on the tips of his shoes from time-to-time.

As for McGee taking his shoes off on the sidelines, when your team is up by 22 points with less than a minute to go in the fourth quarter, you're allowed to be confident enough in the win to kick those puppies off and relax.

Just don't be surprised when somebody nicks your kicks.
