With Oregon’s Fiesta Bowl celebration just beginning Thursday night in University of Phoenix Stadium, a chant arose from UO fans that was downright presidential: “Four more years! Four more years!”
Chip Kelly having just completed a four-year term leading the Ducks, re-election efforts already were under way. Some fans, recognizing that Kelly’s professional aspirations probably precluded such an extended tenure, tried a less ambitious version: “One more year! One more year!”
