A brace from Antonio Di Natale coupled with a Luis Muriel strike ensured Udinese began 2013 impressively with a 3-0 win over 10-man Inter Milan. The loss was the Nerazzurri's first in their first game after the winter break since 1999. The two Serie A sides played to a scoreless first half, and Inter began the second half the stronger of the two sides and perhaps should've taken the lead after five minutes of the restart. Jonathan fired wide from six yards out when it looked easier to score on Udinese goalkeeper Zeljko Brkic.
