A few thoughts coming up on the Hawks’ 89-81 loss to the Celtics Saturday night at Philips Arena:

– A tale of two halves. The Hawks shot the ball well, played terrific defense, and cruised to a 15-point lead at the end of the first half. In the second half, the Celtics turned the tables, especially in the third quarter, when the Hawks shot just 14.3% from the field and were outscored 33-9. The team rallied down the stretch, but just couldn’t get enough shots to fall.
