Not that the wild-card match between the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings needed any more vitriol, but some fans have done their best to troll Adrian Peterson

Thanks to the magic of the Internet, we have an image of one of the funniest banners hanging in a sports bar at the moment.

Keith Leventhal, a sports reporter for Minnesota's KARE 11, tweeted out this picture of a banner that hangs in a Packers bar.

For those wondering why this might be so hurtful to Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson, consider nine yards is the scant amount of yards he needed at the end of the regular season to usurp the long-standing record of yards in a season, held by Eric Dickerson.

The odd part in all this, at least from Vikings fan's point of view, is this was hardly a down year for Peterson.

The star came back from injury better than anyone expected. He rushed for 2,097 yards and helped put the Vikings back into the playoffs.

Sure, he fell nine yards short of the record, but he is coming off a game wherein he rushed for 199 yards and helped secure a win over the Packers.

And yes, while things are different at Lambeau, he managed to rush for 210 yards in Green Bay in early December.

So this may be more of nudging a giant that is already very much awake.

Still, I am all for adding intriguing to an already exciting matchup.
