Urban Meyer continues to build on his already impressive recruiting class with top-notch recruits. The thing that's so striking about the group of studs that Meyer rounded up in the 2013 class thus far is that it is his first-ever recruiting class at Ohio State. This builds optimism for the future of the program.

Meyer picked up yet another big-time recruit in linebacker Trey Johnson, who announced that he would play his college football at "THE Ohio State University" at halftime of Friday night's Under Armour All-America game.

After putting on an Ohio State hat, the 6'2", 218 lbs stud out of Lawrenceville, Georgia had an ear-to-ear smile on his face. He showcased his enthusiasm to become a Buckeye, and in so doing, he also built the enthusiasm of Buckeye fans.

Johnson is the third-ranked inside linebacker recruit in the country according to 247sports.com, and a top 100 recruit according ESPN.go.com. His highlights speak for themselves.

What Johnson brings to Ohio State is great speed, quickness off the edge, good instincts and smarts. He reminds me of a young Ryan Shazier. And if he ends up getting anywhere remotely close to Shazier's level on the football field, Urban Meyer and Ohio State will have themselves a very talented linebacker in a year or two.

Johnson is the 20th recruit for Urban Meyer, Johnson became yet another component in one of the best recruiting classes in the country. Big Ten coaches must beware—the soon-to-be second-year coach out of Toledo, Ohio is not done with this class just yet!
