Heat forward LeBron James received treatment for a knee contusion on Thursday and did not practice. James injured his knee in the second quarter on Wednesday during the Heat’s overtime victory against the Mavericks. He finished the game despite the pain and scored 32 points to go along with 12 rebounds, nine assists, three steals and a block. Bruised knee or not, James needed a day off. Wednesday was the Heat’s second overtime victory in consecutive games. James played 48 minutes in the Heat’s win against Orlando on Monday and logged 42 minutes against the Mavericks.
