Alabama Football Recruiting: Commits to Watch at Under Armour All-American Game

Alabama is one win away from winning its third national championship in a span of four years. The scary thing is that the team is ready to reload once again with a great recruiting class for next season.

Many of these players will be on display on Jan. 4 in the Under Armour All-American Game.

In a showcase of the best players in the country, these future members of the Crimson Tide will stand out as ones to watch on Friday.

Cooper Bateman, QB

Over the past few years, Alabama quarterbacks have gotten a reputation as game managers who rely on the run game to help them succeed.

While this could be debated, Cooper Bateman will certainly change this narrative. He is an incredibly talented passer with both the arm strength and accuracy needed to succeed at the next level.

It might be a few years before the young quarterback is able to lead the offense, but there is little doubt that he has the ability to succeed once he gets the chance.

O.J. Howard, TE

A great tight end can end up being the most dangerous weapon on the offense. He can create big mismatches due to his size and speed.

It is still early, but O.J. Howard has that ability.

The Alabama native has great size at 6'6" and 225 pounds, and he also has the speed to get by anyone who tries to defend him.

Howard is still raw as a prospect, but his athleticism should be on full display in this all-star game.

Robert Foster, WR

If the coaching staff and quarterbacks find a way to get Robert Foster the football in this game, he can really show off his talents.

Foster is incredibly elusive in traffic and can turn short passes into big gains.

With his playmaking ability, the receiver should see the field very early in his college career. He will be yet another weapon on an incredibly talented team next season.

DeMarcus Walker, DE/DT

Although it is still unknown where DeMarcus Walker will end up, his ability fits in perfectly with the Alabama defense.

He is solid against the run and has the ability to disrupt any offensive gameplan by getting into the backfield in a hurry.

Walker might be overshadowed in the All-American Game, with big-time defensive linemen like Robert Nkemdiche and Carl Lawson also playing. However, he is plenty talented in his own right and will certainly show off his skills in this game.
