The Washington Wizards have their top three players in the lineup for the first time in almost a year. The season has been dismal from the start and they have missed the leadership and clutch play of Gilbert Arenas.

Arenas started the game, and has played about 17 minutes so far in this game. He showed signs of his old self, dishing out four assists and hitting a three in the first five minutes of the game.

He didn't seem to slow off the dribble, though, he did seem to struggle a bit defensively.

With only a few games to play, Gilbert plans to play every home game and perhaps one game on the road. He will not play in any back to back games, though.

It is important that he play at a high level so the coaching staff can evaluate the rest of the team. I anticipate some changes in the offseason, with perhaps either Butler or Jamison leaving the team.

The real question, though, is whether they should try to win the remaining games, or whether they should sit back and look for the #1 pick in the draft.  Blake Griffin would be an ideal PF for the team next year.
