Female MMA is on the rise in the world today—just look at the news. Invicta FC, an all-female promotion, is alive and kicking, while more females are making their way to the UFC in the near future.

Female fighters are tough as nails in the squared circle, but they are also beautiful and fun outside of combat situations. It's one of many reasons they are beginning to get a following today.

Here are six ladies of the cage you would love to take on a date.

Miesha Tate

Miesha Tate is the former Strikeforce bantamweight champion, a decorated female wrestler and master of submissions in the cage.

She is also a very lovely lady.

Tate is a classy, fun-loving girl who has all the qualities to make for a fun date night. Her nickname in MMA is "Cupcake," which shows she enjoys baking when she is not choking out opponents.

Treat her right and she may be catering to you with her baked goods. However, you will have to go through UFC boyfriend Bryan Caraway first.

Felice Herrig

Being on the receiving end of Felice Herrig's Muay Thai attack cannot be all that fun. Her power and technique intimidates me half to death.

That being said, Herrig is stunning and has the personality to match. Just follow her on Twitter and you'll realize she is quite hilarious.

A date with her would likely include a trip to somewhere silly and crazy. Those are the best places to go when going on a first date.

Go steady with her and she may be your protection while you're at the bar. If some guy were to want a physical altercation, she could handle it for you.

Gina Carano

Gina Carano is a certified ass-kicker and movie star. Her time in Strikeforce and on the silver screen has likely attracted a lot of male attention.

Not only that, but she is a world-class beauty, too.

Carano's fit structure and fighting background—as well as her stunning looks—have seen her take a spot on the failed revamp to American Gladiators

I'm sure the conversation with Carano would be enthralling. She probably has great stories of beatdowns and her new-found Hollywood fame.

Carla Esparza

Carla Esparza is fighting for gold this weekend in Invicta FC on pay-per-view. She earned that right by being one of the best lighter-weight females in the world.

More than just an ass-kicking machine, Esparza is a cutie.

She is like Felice Herrig—not only because they are great friends, but because she has a fun personality. Esparza has flown under the radar in MMA with her skills and fun-loving self.

Hopefully, she leaves her ceremonial singlet in the locker room, even though it is awesome.

Michelle Waterson

Michelle Waterson is married with a child. However, her beauty and skills cannot be ignored.

The model with a high-level karate black belt is a dime, to put it lightly. She has also shown to be more than capable of handling herself in the cage.

Maybe you won't get an intimate date, but maybe she will give you the charity of a casual night out. I'm sure that would be quite a fun time, especially if some idiot gives you trouble.

I'm sure "The Karate Hottie" would simply kick that idiot in the head.

Ronda Rousey

Ronda Rousey is the hottest name in female MMA today and for good reason. She is an armbar machine, Olympic medalist and trash-talking, mainstream-media darling.

She is also a beautiful beast.

She has barely been challenged in the cage so far. All of her wins are first-round armbars.

Rousey is now the only female UFC champ in history.

Whether you like fighting or not, how could you not want to take Ronda out on the town? I am sure the conversation would be top-notch and the time out would be fun.

Just don't make her mad or she may snap your arm.
