With Joakim Noah on the shelf with flu-like symptoms, the Chicago Bulls (17-13) pulled together to beat the 12-20 Orlando Magic, 96-94, in Orlando on Wednesday night.
The Bulls were in control of this game, 82-71, at the end of the third quarter, and they had to survive a late rally to hold onto the win.
Jameer Nelson, who missed the previous two games with a hip injury, missed a jumper in the closing seconds that would have tied it.
This was a tough loss for the sinking Magic, who are battling their own injury problems, and they have lost seven games in a row.

Player of the Game: Carlos Boozer
With Noah out, Carlos Boozer showed up in a big way. Boozer went for a season-high 31 points and 11 rebounds.
This was the first of a two-game road trip for the Bulls. They will travel to take on the Heat on Friday.
The Magic will host the Knicks on Saturday to wrap up a two-game home stand.
