With this weekend marking a continuation of the FIFA World Cup 2010 Qualifiers in Europe, all teams have been busy with practice sessions and prep talk with the media.

The England team despite the 2-0 loss to Spain at Seville has been looking a rather different outfit ever since the arrival of Capello. The very fact that he has made the duo Lampard and Gerrard work and compliment each other is achievement enough.

But then the English team is no stranger to injury. Ledley King has been a problem of sorts and then the tall, towering Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch is doubtful. Wayne Rooney, the star from Manchester United as always will hold key for Capello's strategy as they begin the weekend with a friendly against Slovakia.

Slovakia has been showing signs of consistency in recent matches as they are leading their respective WC 2010 Qualifier Group against the likes of Czech Republic, Northern Ireland, and Poland is commendable.

With Beckham likely to match his 109th appearance, one can only watch the former England captain with awe at his career.

From a foul that ruined England's match against Argentina in one WC and then scoring the winning goal against the same in the next WC, he has indeed come quite a distance. Well, this should be the beginning of yet another great footballing month as April arrives.
