Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers: Playoff Game Previews and Predictions

Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings: Part 3.

This time it's personal. The Vikings outlasted the Packers in Week 17 on the strength of a 199-yard game from Adrian Peterson and a huge performance by Christian Ponder.

Can Minnesota repeat that? In a game where the Vikings were able to keep pace with the Packers in a shootout, this young team still made plenty of mistakes. In this case, they were able to minimize and overcome them. Things like Michael Jenkins' drop in the end zone and some really foolish penalties didn't hurt.

This team is prone to lapses, though, and one has to wonder if it just spent all its focus and good luck on a big win to get into the playoffs.

On the other side of the field, the Packers need to find a way to continue to take advantage of a shaky Vikings secondary and try to avoid the pass rush which had Rodgers on his back several times last Sunday.

The Packers also want to make sure their offense is clicking early as opposed to last week.
