Indianapolis Colts vs. Baltimore Ravens: AFC Wild-Card Preview, Predictions

Aaron Nagler@Aaron_NaglerNFL National Lead WriterDecember 31, 2012

The Indianapolis Colts will look to continue their magical season in Baltimore when they take on the Ravens in the opening round of the 2012 NFL playoffs at 1 p.m. ET on Jan. 6.

The Ravens should come into this game rested and ready for the most part after sitting a bevy of starters against the Bengals in their season finale.

The Colts, meanwhile, are on a roll. Playing good football on both sides of the ball and not making killer mistakes, Chuck Pagano's team should be up to the challenge of heading into Baltimore and going toe-to-toe against a Ravens team that is nowhere near the juggernaut they have been in past seasons.

That said, I tend to think Baltimore's playmakers show up and take care of business at home against what should be an overmatched Colts defense. Ray Rice and Anquan Boldin, in particular, should be matchup nightmares in this game.

In the video above, we look at some of the biggest storylines surrounding this game and give our picks for the game. Let us know in the comments below which matchups you'll be watching, who you think wins and why.
