The New York Giants absolutely destroyed the visiting Philadelphia Eagles in Week 17, winning by a score of 42-7.
Eli Manning had a field day against the porous Eagles secondary, passing for 208 yards with five touchdowns (two of which were caught by rookie receiver Rueben Randle) and zero interceptions before finally getting replaced by David Carr in the fourth quarter.
Michael Vick, on the other hand, struggled to move the ball, completing just over half his passes for 197 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He also fumbled once, though the ball was recovered by teammate Brandon Hughes.
Ahmad Bradshaw and rookie running back David Wilson had a total of 182 yards and one touchdown on the ground, and Wilson also pitched in with a 15-yard touchdown reception.
The Giants' victory was for naught, though, as the Chicago Bears also won in Week 17, eliminating the Giants from playoff contention.
The Eagles were already long eliminated from any postseason discussions, and the franchise will likely undergo a massive transformation beginning as early as Monday, December 31.
