LAWRENCE -- Let’s put it this way: Kansas’ opponent on Saturday night, the aptly named American Eagles, could definitely handle a squad composed of the best rec-league players on the KU campus.
But then again, there’s every possibility those intramural warriors might keep the margin a little more respectable than American did against No. 6 Kansas inside Allen Fieldhouse.
