Washington Wizards vs. Chicago Bulls 12/29/12: Video Highlights and Recap

The Washington Wizards' rough season continued Saturday night with a 87-77 loss to the Chicago Bulls.

Overall, this game went exactly as you would expect: The Bulls struggled to score the basketball, but the Wizards were even worse.

Carlos Boozer and Kirk Hinrich led Chicago with double-digit efforts. Luol Deng also had 11, but his 4-of-13 night from the floor overshadowed it.

The effort that really put the Bulls over the top, though, came from Marco Belinelli. He also shot lower than 50 percent from the floor, but the Bulls needed his 17 points off the bench to ensure a victory.

Washington actually got a balanced effort Saturday night, but no one stood out enough to carry the team to victory. Bradley Beal had 14 points, but he was inefficient from the floor and incapable of carrying the team on his own.

Player of the Game: Kirk Hinrich

Hinrich only took six shots, but he scored 10 points. That wouldn't be a great night if he hadn't also hauled down six rebounds and dished out seven assists.

Chicago isn't going to have breakout scoring nights very often, so it needs efforts like this. Hinrich facilitated the offense and contributed in other ways as well.

He's a veteran leader, and his steady hand played a major role in the Bulls' win Saturday night.
