Now that the Matt Cassel trade seems like old news and the NFL Draft upon us, I wonder what is next for Tyler Thigpen?

Thigpen as many of you know, came out of absolutely nowhere to become a solid quarterback for a bad team. He threw 18 touchdown passes and also ran for three touchdowns.

So now as he looks to become the back up once again what do you think is going through his mind? If I were him I would be wondering what else could I have done?

He went out there and impressed everyone with his speed and for the most part did well as a passer.

So does he just stick it out as a backup and hope to get on the field somehow? Or does he ask to be traded?

There could be a few teams that would be very interested in the quarterback from Winnsboro, South Carolina.

The Minnesota Vikings might be one of those teams. They came out looking like idiots since they were the ones who drafted Thigpen but let him go before he could do anything for the Vikings.

I doubt that they knew that this kid would be in this position now!

So do the Chiefs keep him and let him ride the bench? Do they trade him for a fourth or fifth round pick?

I guess at this point nobody really knows. But, the answer to this question will be answered.
