Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor was not fined for big hit that sent 49ers tight end Vernon Davis to the sideline with a concussion on Sunday. Chancellor was flagged for unnecessary roughness for the hit, which dislodged the ball from Davis and sent him sprawling out of bounds inside the Seahawks 5-yard line. The 49ers had to settle for a field goal attempt on the drive, which was blocked and returned for a 90-yard touchdown. Davis has been progressing through the NFL's post-concussion protocol this week. He is practicing in a black, no-contact jersey today. He must get beyond one last hurdle - simulated contact - before he is fully cleared to play Sunday vs. Arizona. That test can be administered at any point until game day.
