The Vikings have matched the Bengals' $1.4 million offer to Naufahu Tahi, thus keeping him on the roster for the 09-10 season.

After failing to land ol' Lenny Weaver (who went to Seattle), Minnesota was looking at using current H-back Jeff Dugan or finding an answer to the fullback spot in the draft or picked-over free agency.

Pro-Bowler Tony Richardson used to pave Adrian Peterson's way, but AP also found success behind Tahi last year.  Would it have been a different story with Dugan at fullback?  It's hard to say. Dugan certainly comes cheaper, though.

Was this a good move?  What do you think?
