The Los Angeles Clippers got off to a red-hot start on Thursday night and never looked back, defeating the Boston Celtics at Staples Center, 106-77.
Four different Clippers scored 14 points or more and bench players Jamal Crawford and Matt Barnes combined for 38 points. Los Angeles shot 48 percent from the floor.
On the flip side, the Celtics shot just 40 percent from the field and committed 18 turnovers, resulting in 26 points for the Clippers.
Kevin Garnett scored a team-high 16 points for Boston in a losing effort.

It was a team effort by the Clippers on Thursday night, but Blake Griffin's dazzling athleticism and explosiveness was on full display, finishing with 15 points and eight rebounds in 26 minutes.
He finished with a plus-minus of plus-21.
