What Are the New York Jets' Needs in the 2013 NFL Draft?
Where can you begin with this Three Ring Circus?
Hidden within the train-wreck of a regular season, the Jets actually have some talented football players on the defensive side of the ball. While the offense undoubtedly needs to take a new schematic direction, it is also in desperate need of an infusion of talent. Once Santonio Holmes went down, the offense had little chance.
Of course, when Mark Sanchez is your quarterback, you have little chance to begin with.
More than anything else, this is a team in desperate need at the quarterback position. Is there an answer in the draft? Maybe, but without question this is the question that needs to be answered before this team can even pretend to start competing with the rest of the division, let alone the rest of the league.
Matt Miller and I rounded up a bunch of football fans, gave them hats and B/R swag, then headed over to Highland Park here in New York City and tried to figure out where the Jets have the most pressing needs heading into the 2013 NFL draft.
