This year's Wake Forest basketball recruits are said to not be as good as last year's, but they could be very good players.
Ari Stewart is a 6'7" small forward out of Marietta, Ga. He is a four-star recruit according to both Rivals.com and Scout.com. He is the 12th-best small forward in the nation according to Scout.com.
Like most recruits coming into college, he is skinny and needs to gain weight. Since he is 6'7'' he needs to be in the 200s in weight. His positives are his athleticism and his penetration abilities. He has to be a transition player to play at Wake Forest.
He needs to work on his ball handling and his catch-and-shoot technique needs a lot of work. He should make an immediate impact from the first day he steps on campus.
The other schools he considered were Alabama, Clemson, UConn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami, Michigan State, Oregon, South Florida, Texas, UAB, and Xavier. So he was a wanted recruit.
When he comes on campus, he will make Wake Forest just a little bit deeper along with the other recruits. You just wonder how fast they will grow.
