Yes, I predicted the Clemson Tigers to defeat my hometown team, the Villanova Wildcats, in the first round.

Yes, I heard about it from every one of my pals, but they allowed me to share in their joy even though my bracket had been turned upside down.

Let's get real, though.

The only people picking Villanova to end up in the Sweet 16 were alumni, current students, or your 11 year old sister who picked them to win it all because she loves cats.

But now that they're there, you have to love them. Jay Wright always looks fantastic pacing along the bench, and who doesn't love watching Scottie Reynolds drain fade-away threes? And remember 1985? Villanova became the lowest seed to ever win the NCAA Tournament as an 8 seed—everyone's favorite Cinderella (except Patrick Ewing).

I'm sure that most people will pick Kansas to romp the Wildcats and advance to the Elite 8. And maybe they will.

However, we are all aware of Kansas's reputation to choke in the big dance. Maybe the Jayhawks will choke.

Maybe Villanova will once again be the Cinderella of the NCAA Tournament. Many felt that Villanova should not have even made it into the tournament, but now a Final Four is not too farfetched for Jay Wright's Wildcats.

I would certainly not count them out.
