The Miami Heat (20-6) met little resistance on Wednesday night in Charlotte as they sent the Bobcats (7-21) to their 16th straight loss.
The Heat led by 17 at halftime and saw that lead cut to two, but they cruised to a 105-92 win.
The Bobcats had that two-point deficit at 84-82 with just over seven minutes to play in the game, but obviously, it was all-Miami from that point.
This was a nice win for the Heat considering they had to travel after hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder on Christmas and winning a hard-fought rematch of last year's finals. This was Miami's sixth straight victory.

Player of the Game: LeBron James
LeBron James was his usual magnificent self. He had 27 points by going 9-of-19 from the field, while adding 12 rebounds and eight assists.
He also set the tone for this game by getting things off to an intense start with four dunks in the first seven minutes of the game.
This was the first of a four-game road trip for the Heat. They will play the Pistons on Friday, the Bucks on Saturday and the Magic on Monday.
Meanwhile, the Bobcats will travel to take on the Nets on Friday and then return home to host the Hornets on Saturday.
