Moving Today's Market

In a relatively quiet day on the hardwood, two NIT quarterfinal games have attracted a modicum of attention. The public is installing the Syracuse Orange as –7.5 favorites over UMass, and Arizona State as –3.5/-4 point favorites over the Florida Gators.

In the NBA, the Portland Trailblazers may host the Washington Wizards without the services of their star center, La Marcus Aldridge, who tweaked his ankle in his last outing. A little brighter news on the injury front for the Indiana Pacers' Jermaine O'Neal: he's been practicing with the team and may return to action as early as tomorrow.

Key Market Moves

Game 655 Clippers @ Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks, absent the services of superstar Dirk Nowitzki, host Donald Sterling's injury-ravaged Clippers. Even without Dirty Dirk, and with Jason Kidd in an all-around funk, the public has moved the line in Dallas' direction. From a cold open of –11.5, the public is expecting the Mavs to pummel the Clips by –13.
