With the holiday season in full swing, the fun and excitement that surrounds every episode of TNA Impact Wrestling will help everyone get through the week after Christmas and prepare for the New Year.

In one of the toughest times of year fiscally and emotionally, TNA is there to help!

With TNA’s Genesis pay-per-view scheduled for January 13, the company has three weeks of build to make this show start the year off on the right foot, but there are serious doubts about whether or not the company can do it.

No matter how it turns out—complete success or a total train wreck—wrestling fans won’t want to miss a second of this wild action.

Where: Universal Studios, Orlando, Fla.

When: Thursday, Dec. 27, at 8 p.m. ET

Watch: Spike TV

Open Fight Night

While TNA can be blamed for some of the worst ideas in wrestling history, the concept of Open Fight Night is intriguing and can be a great way to further current stories, continue long-standing feuds or start up fresh storylines.

Question on Everybody's Mind: Which Feud Will Heat up Thursday?

There is a roster full of elite talent ready to become part of the main focus of TNA, but the current battle between Bobby Roode and Austin Aries is what hardcore wrestling fans should be watching for; this is a dream feud.

Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Hell vs. Heel Battles

Unless TNA has plans to change one of these two men back to face—an idea that the company should not consider right now—this will be a battle of the bad guys that the casual TNA fans may have trouble enjoying. As great as it would be, this will not be a long-term feud.

Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan

There was no better heel over the course of 2012 than Bully Ray in TNA, and the company saw the gem they had and decided to do the only logical thing; turn him face and involve him in a love angle with Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke.

Question on Everybody's Mind: How does this make sense?

As much as the fans can hope that this is all a big ploy to get Bully Ray involved in the Aces and Eights gang, that would be too good of a plot twist for this storyline. This angle ends when Bully finally gets Hulk’s approval and Brooke becomes his valet.

Hype Meter: 1 out of 5 Wastes of Talent

In the middle of the summer, TNA had Bobby Roode, Bully Ray and Austin Aries all red-hot and on top of the world. Just a few months later, and the company has involved arguably its top talker in a Claire-Lynch-esque storyline; not a good business decision.
