Porter Arrested on Felony Check-Writing Charge

Former NFL star Joey Porter was arrested Friday night in Bakersfield on a felony warrant out of Clark County, Nev., for writing a check with non-sufficient funds.
Lt. Scott Tunnicliffe of the Bakersfield Police Department said Porter, who retired from pro football after last season, was pulled over on a traffic stop at 9:46 p.m. Friday at the corner of Etchert and Calloway in west Bakersfield.
