The Cincinnati Bengals hit the road and finally beat the Pittsburgh Steelers after losing five straight games to their divisional rivals, winning an ugly game by a score of 13-10.
Neither quarterback played well. Andy Dalton and Ben Roethlisberger both tossed two interceptions, and one of Roethlisberger's was returned for a touchdown by Leon Hall in the first quarter.
Dalton finished the game with 278 yards and failed to throw a single touchdown pass.
Roethlisberger finished the game with 220 yard and one touchdown.
The game was a defensive struggle the entire way through. Both teams turned the ball over three times, and the defenses tallied 10 sacks between them—six for the Steelers and four for the Bengals.
Geno Atkins, in particular, stood out amongst the other defenders, tallying 2.5 sacks from his defensive tackle position.
Pittsburgh's loss took them out of the playoff chase for good, and Cincinnati's win assured the Bengals at least the No. 6 seed in the AFC.
The Bengals will host the Baltimore Ravens in Week 17, while the Steelers will host the Cleveland Browns.
